I chose English Civil War, as many other people will. This is because so much was happening that shaped our world today, such as why the Queen is so useless and Parliament so powerful. People were thinking for themselves and changed the country by killing the King. It is also very directly related to us, because monarchs no longer belive in divine right.

I chose the English Civil war because (not because majority) because we went into the details in depth and plus the fact King Charles I made the worst decisions and kept on getting worse so I actually found it quite humorous. He fell out with the Scottish the Irish and the British it was very interesting for him to also be hated by so much and lose all of his power making him look powerless and not very clever, plus he changed England's Monarchy and Parliament got all of the power and today Gordon brown just can not seem to handle it at plus he was not elected which is a big problem for Gordon. Hope that's enough.

I Chose the American Civil War as i've always been amazed by it as it proves that even the strongest nation could have been split apart and also because of the influence the war brought on the rest of the world.

I chose the English Civil War becauseit was definatley the most intereasting and we went into the topic alot! We also got to go on a Trip to Parliament which had a link wtih the English Civil War ( Parliament were against Charles I ). I learnt more stuff i didn't know about Parliament and i now can show evidence when i am presenting information. The English Civil War stood out most to me in the whole of Mr. Lee's (General Lee) innov8 class so thanks sir for rushing me in with lots of information! I went from a 4c to a 6b how incredible i think sir should get all the credit!

i voted the English civil war because its all about england and it was the most interesting, plus i don't really like the American civil war because its to gruesome and most of the war was over the Texans being stubborn, and thinking slavery was right, which it wasn't. tanika

Firstly Abdul, calm down mate.
Secondly, i went for 1066, becuae i think that this time priod was, exciting, confusing and full of good, bad and lucky decisions. The fact that Harold Godwinsons men managed to march up and down Britain, as if it was a doddle amazes me. Then they only lost out to William, due to the fact that he had got lucky when he chose to avoid the strong winds and set sails a few days later wen Godwinson wasn't there. But also after watching the 1066 programs in channel 4. i really understood how hard it would have been, and what the whole atmosphere of the battles would have been like. The last battle of Hastings is such a great, famous battle that a worldwide insurance company hav named themselves after it. (no prizes for guessing that one.)
Sunesh.

i chose 1066 because for me, it felt like i was really understanding what happened and why it did. I liked being able to understand the wouldnt it be intresting if kind of thing, like if William hadnt been blown off course, would Harold have won.

I chose the American Civil War because even though we haven't finished it yet I prefer it over any of the other options. First of all, there were many more deaths compared to the English Civil War (around 50 000 on average compared to 1 - 5 000 in the English Civil War). This meant more people died - yay! No, not really. Yeah I just chose them because America are 'for the win'.

I chose the English Civil War because I find it the most entertaining - it was complicated yet full of drama. Another reason that I have chosen it is that we have spent the most time looking at it (it seems to me), and I have the most knowledge in this subject. We have written two essays about it, and it feels to me as if I have looked at it in greater detail than the others. Also, I have learnt the most from it. Before Mr Lee's Innov8, I knew absolutely nothing about the Stuarts, and now it feels as if I know everything there is about them.
